Nene


A Shikigami who’s been guarding a certain shrine seal for far too long. Though her sharp tongue and disdainful demeanor make her seem condescending, she has a kind heart at her core. 


She enjoys teasing the protagonist for fun, but when it comes to her kid sister, Maiko, she’s incredibly sweet.


 



Maiko


Nene’s younger sister, with a wild and carefree personality. Though still inexperienced as a deity, she’s determined to do her best for the village. 


She deeply respects Nene and admires her so much that she can’t say no to her. Above all else, she’s obsessed with playing Yokai Death Cards.


 


Shouhei Saionji


The protagonist, a young man (and a virgin). While he can be a bit oblivious to social cues, he’s a kind guy who cares deeply for his mother.


After moving to the village with her, he quickly gets caught up in trouble. He also possesses a hidden power he’s not yet aware of...
